Dedrone RF sensors are the foundation of your airspace security system, detecting drones by their radio frequency (RF) signatures and providing early warning of potential threats. Dedrone RF sensors can detect commercial, hobbyist, and homebrew drones, as well as the entire DJI product lineup. Dedrone RF sensors connect to Dedrone’s DroneTracker software to classify drone type and record forensic evidence, including localizing the drone and pilot. DroneTracker can then trigger both passive and active countermeasures to tailor the security response to the severity of the threat.

The Dedrone RF-100 and RF-300 sensors detect and classify drones using multiple integrated software-defined radios (SDRs). Dedrone RF sensors can achieve a detection range of over 1 mile, depending on installation and environment characteristics.
The Dedrone RF-100 and RF-300 are passive, networks-attached sensors that detect RF and Wi-Fi signals in the 2.4 GHz band. Both sensors are ruggedized for extreme environmental conditions with an IP65 ingress protection rating. With a range of up to 1 mile in ideal conditions, the RF-300 provides omnidirectional passive detection, and can be combined with one or more RF-300 sensors to provide precise geolocation of drones and their pilots. Connecting to Dedrone’s DroneTracker software system, the RF-300 sensor utilizes the DroneDNA machine learning system and drone database to classify drones of all types. The RF-100 has a range of up to 1.24 miles and supplements the DroneTracker software system with an additional layer of RF detection. Both the RF-100 and RF-300 are configured and operated via the DroneTracker user interface, and receive firmware and DroneDNA updates automatically over the cloud.
